The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism

Stand With Peaceful Uprising!

Peaceful Uprising, a remarkable organization that is committed to fighting the climate crisis and building a just, healthy world, has recently learned some devastating news: along with more than 200 other nonprofits, PeaceUp has been financially wiped out in an astonishing act of apparent fraud by a fiscal sponsor. It's been a trying year for the group, as co-founder Tim DeChristopher, who courageously disrupted a compromised auction of oil and gas leases in Utah, recently started serving a federal prison sentence. PeaceUp is holding strong, but this latest news is a serious blow that has left the group unable to pay its small staff, rent for its space, or any other expenses. Please consider supporting the wonderful activists at Peaceful Uprising in their time of crisis.
